The air supply valve is a crucial component of a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA). It is responsible for delivering compressed air from the high-pressure cylinder to the user’s facepiece after pressure reduction, ensuring a stable breathing air supply. The air supply valve typically features an automatic demand function, adjusting airflow based on the user’s breathing requirements to provide efficient and comfortable air delivery.
The diaphragm inside the air supply valve delivers air according to the actual breathing needs of the user, ensuring that the pressure inside the mask is always greater than the external working environment pressure. The square manual shut-off button on the front of the air supply valve allows manual closure of the valve to stop the air supply. During inhalation, the valve is automatically opened by the suction force.
At the center of the bottom of the air supply valve is a round manual forced air supply button. First, if the button is not opened by suction, pressing it manually will initiate automatic air supply. Second, if the wearer feels insufficient air supply, pressing this button will automatically increase the air supply.
Additionally, it can release the residual pressure in the medium-pressure tube, making it convenient for testing and disassembling the quick connector.

The air supply valve switch button: Pressing the button stops the air supply. The manual shut-off has low resistance, and the opening force is minimal.
2. Exhaust Button
When the cylinder valve is closed, pressing the button releases residual gas from the pipeline. When the cylinder valve is open, pressing the button manually forces air supply.
